About AMS

Our business was originally formed in 1985 and in 2007 we became a member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In 1995 we set up a Contractor payment service, expanding rapidly to cover the whole of the UK.  In 2007 this evolved into our Monthly Contractor accountancy service.  We have worked with thousands of Contractors in all industries providing a service which allows our Contractors to see a monthly prediction of taxes they will have to pay, and how much money they can safely take from their Company.

We also serve small businesses mainly in the Swindon and the West Country. We keep them on track – demystify the ever changing rules and providing the backup they need to grow their businesses. 

Our Team

Our teams work closely together to ensure the best service to our clients.

We have two departments, one for Small Businesses and the other for Contractors and Freelancers. The leaders in each department are experts in their own right with many years’ experience in helping clients and their teams.

We believe colleagues should receive training in all areas rather than working on one operation continuously. This helps us to ensure progress within the company and staff satisfaction.

All members of staff participate in improving processes and ideas are discussed regularly.
